From producer to restauranteur, meet our marketing manager premium products

A key part of our business strategy is to capture more market value for our products. Wayne Cameron, our new Marketing Manager Premium Products, has been tasked with supporting the co-operative to achieve this goal. He will manage and grow the rapidly-developing premium products portfolio.


Wayne is well positioned for his new role, having been instrumental in the initial development of the market for SILERE, working with chefs, distributors, processing partners and grower suppliers to align production with the needs of the market. His experience in this sector spans from producer - he hails from an Otago sheep and beef farm - to restaurateur. His Fine Fare Kitchen in Christchurch was voted Canterbury Pop Up Restaurant of the Year 2016.

Wayne was recently featured in the Otago Daily Times, Dunedin.
