ALLIANCE EVENTS CREATE PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS WITH FARMERS, WHICH WE VALUE.
SHAREHOLDER AND SUPPLIER MEETINGS
The very popular annual Roadshows are held in around 24 communities throughout the country. Presentations and discussions look at the year ahead, including updates on procurement, processing, sales and marketing, as well as the progress of the Alliance strategy. As well as formal presentations and question and answer sessions where shareholders and suppliers are encouraged to share their views and ideas, attending farmers enjoy the opportunity to chat with Alliance personnel over a cup of tea.
Held each year across many New Zealand locations, senior staff and subject matter experts provide relevant presentations on timely topics while also providing an opportunity to connect local likeminded farmers.
While women play an important role in the farming business as partners and decision makers, it’s sometimes hard for farming couples to take time out from the farm at the same time to attend presentations. These workshops have proved to be a valuable forum for women shareholders to provide input direct to senior management while hearing first-hand about our strategy and the latest Alliance plans and innovations.
FIELD DAYS AND A&P SHOWS
Alliance has a proud history of taking part in our iconic Kiwi field days and A&P shows. These relaxed and informal environments are an enjoyable way to welcome our shareholders and suppliers where we can play host with refreshments, and our farmers can catch up with our directors, management and livestock representatives.
We keep our farmers informed via Brief Bites, our fortnightly e-newsletter which is one of the best ways to keep up to date about co-operative news, upcoming events, market updates and more.
